"Men need to understand that when they rape us, they kill us. And they laugh, hidden behind the walls of impunity. That's enough." Anouk Grinberg will be at the Théâtre de la Concorde on July 1 at 7 p.m.

More than fifty years after the first rape she suffered, actress Anouk Grinberg speaks out . Denounces. Analyses. The sexual assaults and rapes of a family friend, of her brother, but also the influence exerted over her by her former partner and father of her son, the director Bertrand Blier, who made her his sexual object in each of the films in which he directed her .

Actress Anouk Grinberg has performed under the direction of Patrice Chéreau, Jean-Louis Martinelli, and Alain Françon. As an actress, she has worked for film and television under the direction of Philippe Garrel, Olivier Assayas, Elisabeth Rappeneau, and Arnaud Desplechin. Director Bertrand Blier directed her in "Merci la vie" (1991), "Un, deux, trois soleil" (1993), and "Mon homme" (1993), a role that earned her the Best Actress Award at the Berlin Film Festival. In October 2023, she responded to the open letter published by actor Gérard Depardieu in the pages of "Le Figaro," in which he denied the sexual assaults and rapes of which he was accused, notably by Charlotte Arnould. Anouk Grinberg defended the actress and claimed to have witnessed assaults committed by Gérard Depardieu. She attends the actor's trial in May 2025.

She will be at the Théâtre de la Concorde in Paris on July 1st for a meeting hosted by our journalist Elisabeth Philippe , deputy head of the culture department of "Nouvel Obs", and followed by a book signing session organized in partnership with the L'Attrape-Coeurs bookstore.
